UDINESE CLOSE IN ON MEERDINK
UDINESE are hoping to to seal a deal for De Graafschap midfielder Martijn Meerdink.
The 24-year-old schemer is very highly rated in Holland and De Graaf have been fighting very hard to hang onto him for some time, but know Udinese look to have won the race for his signature.
Meerdink will stay with De Graafschap for the rest of the Dutch season and would then join-up with the Italian side, who see the Dutchman as a ready made replacement for Lazio-bound Stefano Fiore.
Another player who is to leave De Graaf is Eric Viscaal, who is out of contract in the summer, is another player that looks likely to leave.
Werder Bremen and an unnamed English clubs are looking to move in for the striker.
