LASSISSI TO SEAL NAPOLI SWITCH
SALIOU LASSISSI is expected to complete his move from Fiorentina to Napoli on Tuesday and end an unhappy chapter in his career.
Lassissi has been unable to hold down a regular place in the Fiorentina team since joining the club from Udinese last summer on a one-year loan contract.
The 22-year-old defender's problems increased earlier this month when he then fell out with Viola coach Fatih Terim and even accused the Turk of using Fiorentina to make a name for himself in Italy.
Lassissi will now swap Fiorentina's chase for a Champions League place for a relegation scrap at Napoli.
Fiorentina have been offered a choice of striker David Sesa or defender Salvatore Fresi in exchange for Lassissi and it is thought Terim would prefer the stopper to replace Lassissi.
