FEYENOORD SWOOP FOR LEONARDO
FEYENOORD have swooped to sign Leonardo dos Santos Silva from FC Groningen on a Bosman free transfer.
Leonardo has signed a three-year deal with the current Eredivisie leaders, after rejecting an improved contract offered to him by Groningen.
Dos Santos Silva moved to Groningen in 1997, but the Brazilian is looking for a new challenge.
Matters may become somewhat confusing at De Kuip, as he will be the second Leonardo playing for the Rotterdam club, who currently have Leonardo de Vitor Santiago on their books.
