HASSELBAINK TO END CAREER AT CHELSEA
The Dutch international striker, who moved to the club in the summer from Atletico Madrid for £15 milllion, has claimed that he will hang up his boots when his contract at Stamford Bridge expires in five years.
The former Leeds United forward also revealed that he is determined to win both the league title and FA Cup before ending his illustrious career.
"I was mad for Ajax and always wished I could play for them, but Chelsea is better," said Hasselbaink.
"I want to finish my contract here and then I think I will pack my bags and stop. At 33 it's going to be time for me to go, I think.
"I am at a great club and I play with great players. It's enough for me."
The 28-year-old hit-man also revealed that he owed his former Leeds boss George Graham a great deal for turning him into the player he is now during his time at Elland Road.
"When I came to England George Graham was very important for me," said Hasselbaink.
"He actually made me more of a man. He wanted me to be a winner and was always on my back.
"He would say things like `Jimmy, you have done well but forget it. Tomorrow we have another game'.
"It made me think `Yeah, he is quite right'. What you have done is in the past. Tomorrow's going to be more important. George was very important for me. He really toughened me up."
