BALJIC THROWN OUT OF FENERBAHCE

REAL MADRID striker Elvir Baljic, currently on loan with Turkish giants Fenerbahce, has been told he can return back to Spain after coach Mustafa Denizli finally lost his patience with the Bosnian International.

The player has had several personal problems, both on and off the field, since returning to Turkey on loan.

Denizli has said he can longer put-up with striker Baljic, and has told the player to leave the club and to never return.

Relations between Denizli and Baljic started to deteriorate after the coach decided to substitute Baljic during a recent game.

After spending time on the sidelines, Baljic passed his time frequenting the local bars

However, the final straw came earlier this week when Baljic turned-up for training late.

Club officials discovered that the player had in fact overslept after spending the evening at a party in Istanbul with Denizli's daughter Selin.

The club imposed the maximum fine on the player, but felt it would be best if he also quit the Turkish giants.

The player was brought to Real Madrid by John Toshack, but failed to live up to his high profile.

Baljic found it hard to adjust to Spanish life off the pitch and the pressure proved too great for his marriage and he and his wife split-up.

The Bosnian star decided to stay in Spain and fight for his place, but coach Vicente del Bosque (pictured) did not want him and thought it best if he returned to Turkey, initially on loan.

Relations between Denizli and Baljic appear to have reached the point of no return and the player must now consider returning to Real Madrid.

However, this may not be the easiest option for the Bosnian International.

Sources in Madrid claim that the player is not wanted at El Santiago Bernabeau, and the fact that the player is classed as a foreigner makes it harder to believe he has a future in Spain, at least with the current Champions League holders.
