BOSVELT NEAR TO FITNESS
FEYENOORD midfielder Paul Bosvelt is close to a return to first-team action, after recovering from the knee injury that has dogged him for some time.
The 30-year-old Dutch international suffered the injury against Ajax in December and despite making a comeback in January, broke down again.
However, he has now battled back to fitness and should play against the amateurs of VV Vlissingen on Tuesday evening.
Bosvelt will be looking to come through the game with no ill-effects, as Feyenoord are due to play PSV Eindhoven at De Kuip on Sunday in a game that has been billed as potential title decider.
