RIVALDO SLAMS `OFFSIDE` GOAL DECISION

RIVALDO has broken his silence over the controversial end to Barcelona`s game with Real Madrid on Saturday, claiming that the decision to disallow his injury-time winner was `scandalous` and believes that referees want the Santiago Bernabeu club to win the league.

The Brazilian superstar thought he had capped a memorable fightback with a goal in injury-time, that would have been his hat-trick, but he was denied by a highly-controversial offside decision.

On his personal website, a distraught Rivaldo said: "It was scandalous.

"We played a great game but they stole victory from us.  I'll never be able to forget what happened because we deserved to win.

"The problem is that referees want Real Madrid to win the league."

Barca president Joan Gaspart also voiced his displeasure at referee Jose Javier Losantos Omar`s decision, saying: "I feel like I've had my wallet stolen.

"I think someone has decided that Barcelona shouldn't win the league this year."
