VILLA TURN DOWN RANGERS' GINOLA MOVE
Having already seen an offer for Danish star, Brian Steen Nielsen turned down, by the player himself, Rangers remain desperate to shore up a midfield which has been decimated by injury.
Ginola and Villa boss John Gregory's bust-ups have been well publicised this season, with complaints about the £3 million man's weight and committment paramount in Gregory's outbursts.
The former Tottenham and Newcastle star was even relegated to playing in the reserves, in a sweeper position against The Magpies.
Arthur Numann, Neil McCann, Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Jorge Albertz have all been ruled out in recent weeks and now American international Claudio Reyna has joined the injury list at Ibrox.
Reyna revealed he might be out for upto a month, saying: "The way things are I won't be back until after the next round of international games later this month.
"I turned badly and pulled the muscle. I tried to play on but couldn't."
David Murray promised Gers' fans he would buy to ensure next season will not be as futile as the 2000/01 campaign.
Murray said: "Dick (Advocaat) has presented me with a list of players he would like to see at Ibrox.
"I have already started working on it to get a start on other clubs who may want to sign the same people."
Murray started the overhaul with the signing of Marcus Gayle from Wimbledon in a deal worth around £1 million, whilst Everton's Stephen Hughes has also been watched.
