BERGKAMP EAGER TO PLAY IN MUNICH
The Dutchman, who has a fear of flying, did not travel for The Gunners` game with Lyon two weeks ago, as Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger did not want the player to drive by car and risk tiredness.
Wenger felt that travelling by train or car would tire Bergkamp out and he insisted that he wanted the former Ajax and Internazionale star fresh for his side's domestic campaign.
Bergkamp though is desperate to be involved in the game, which will determine Arsenal's place in the quarter finals, and he believes Munich is within reach by chauffeur-driven car
"I understood that last time the manager had made a decision about away games," said Bergkamp. "So we'll see, I don't know."
"After last time, I would not expect to go. But it's a very big game and you'd love to be involved in that," added Bergkamp.
If Bergkamp does travel, then Wenger will have a selection poser between Thierry Henry, Kanu and Sylvain Wiltord and Bergkamp as to whom to pick to play up front against Bayern.
Wenger admitted he had not decided whether or not to include Bergkamp in his plans but insisted he did not like players travelling by road or rail.
"I don't know at the moment if Dennis Bergkamp will travel to Germany," said Wenger.
"I have to think about it, but I don't really like players travelling abroad by road or train."
