PSG WANT TO KEEP ARTETA

PARIS SAINT GERMAIN coach Luis Fernandez has revealed that he wants to retain the services of Mikel Arteta for a further season.

Arteta, who is on loan from Barcelona, is due to move back to Camp Nou at the end of the season, but Fernandez has revealed that he will try and pull a few strings to keep the player in France.

Speaking about Arteta, Fernandez said: "We want to keep him on loan for one more season.

"I will talk with the sporting chairman of Barca, my friend Carlos Reixach, and I hope that we can keep him."

Fernandez also revealed that Nicolas Anelka (pictured) is happy in Paris, despite rumours that he is far from content with the capital club.

"I talked with him," Fernandez said. "He feels good in Paris, totally fulfilled.

"He is different from his image - with us he will score the goals."

Fernandez confirmed that Ronaldinho will arrive at the end of the season, but denied rumours that Stephane Ziani will move from Nantes.
