GORRE UNHAPPY WITH TREATMENT BY TERRIERS

DEAN GORRE believes that his future lies away from Huddersfield Town, claiming that this season has been a `waste of time` for him.

The Dutch midfielder has recently been linked with a return to Holland with Sparta Rotterdam, reports denied by Terriers boss Lou Macari, but the player has insisted that he will almost certainly move on at the end of the season.

Speaking on his personal Icons website, an unhappy Gorre said: "I'm sad to say that I feel like this season has been a waste of time for me.  As a professional footballer all you want to do is play games and I can tell you that it's four months since I last started a game.  For me this isn't acceptable.

"I turn up for training every day, hoping that I will be told that I will be starting the next game.  However for the last four months all I have been getting is ten minutes of a game here, 15 minutes of a game there.  I just want the chance to show what I can do.

"As for next season, well I am sorry to say that I see no future for me at Huddersfield Town.

"I have one year left on my contract and I am not prepared to sit on the bench for another year.  Whether my future lies in England or back in Holland I don't know.  What I do know though is that I cannot have another season like this one."

He did concede that times are difficult for everyone at the club, adding: "These are really difficult times for everyone at the club.  The team are in deep trouble.

"This season has been one of huge frustration for the fans and the players.  We started the season thinking that we'd be in the running for promotion but we now find ourselves in a relegation dogfight.

"It is hard to pinpoint exactly what has gone wrong this season; I believe it's a combination of factors.  We were really unlucky in a number of games at the start of the season and this led to a loss of confidence.  Injuries and the sacking of Steve Bruce compounded our situation and we now find ourselves in the bottom three."
