VAN VOSSEN TO QUIT
DUTCH INTERNATIONAL striker Peter van Vossen wants to leave Feyenoord.
The 32-year-old hopes that his contract at De Kuip, which expires in the summer, will be terminated immediately.
Van Vossen was substituted in last week`s 2-0 defeat at Willem II after just 38 minutes and it now seems he has played his last game for the Dutch giants.
"The substitution last Sunday was the last straw and that made me make my decision," van Vossen said.
"I already got little playing time and I have to draw a conclusion at some point."
"It is a hard decision, because Feyenoord has always been my club.
"I can't make a move to another club in the coming months, because the transfer market in the Eredivisie has closed, but after that I will look for another club."
