Well boss Billy Davies is believed to be a big fan of the central defender and he sees him as an ideal replacement for Kemble, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
Kemble is expected to return to Holland and Davies is keen to bring in an experienced player to fill the void left by Kemble.
The 28-year-old still has one year to run on his current deal at Dens Park but if Dark Blues boss Ivano Bonetti receives a suitable offer he will probably cash in on the defender.
Meanwhile, the Fir Park outfit are looking at former Internazionale goalkeeper Raffael Nuzzo, as Andy Goram is expected to leave the club in the summer, but they will face competition from Wigan Athletic for his signature.
