WEAH TO LEAVE MARSEILLE
The former World Player of the Year will leave the Stade Velodrome in the summer and he is looking for a new club.
The 35-year-old, who joined the club in October from Manchester City, signed an eight month deal with the French outfit but he had indicated he would stay for longer if the club offered him an extended deal which they have failed to do.
"The club have been saying since January that they wanted to keep me, but I have heard nothing more to confirm this," said Weah.
"I need to know about my future as soon as possible and that is why I have decided to quit the team at the end of the season.
The Liberian international also admitted that he had been contacted by a number of clubs across Europe about a possible move.
"I signed a contract with Marseille until June with the option of another deal, but it is not in my interest to have a cloud of uncertainty over my future at the club," said Weah.
"I'm being utterly professional about the situation and I will give my best for the club until the end of the season."
