BENARRIVO WANTS PARMA STAY

PARMA captain Antonio Benarrivo has admitted he wants to stay with the club for the rest of his career.

The influential star, who is currently convalescing from a muscular injury, has stated that he is not going anywhere, and wants to remain at the club for the remainder of his playing days.

"Transfers is a topic I am not even interested in," Benarrivo told the Parma official site. "I am very much attached to Parma now and I hope with all my heart that I will be allowed to finish my career here.

"I still have another three years in me and my wish is to play them with Parma.

"After that who knows?  I certainly will not become a coach - it is a job that requires an excellent knowledge of psychology and I do not have this."
