JIMMY WITH DIVIDED LOYALTIES

CHELSEA striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink arrived back in Portugal with the Dutch national squad, and was full of praise for his former Portuguese clubs.

Hasselbaink played with Campomaiorense and Boavista in Portugal, but said he had divided loyalties in this year's title race.

"I confess I am a bit divided," said hasselbaink of who he would like to win the title.

"After all, I played for Boavista and that enabled me to earn a move to England. I have a very strong relationship with the club and I enjoy seeing them in first place.

"But I would also like Sporting to win the title because their coach Manueal Fernandes was like a father to me.

"He was the first coach to let me play as a striker and I owe him all that I am now, Manuel Fernandes is a great man."
