STUBBS HOPING TO RETURN
ALAN STUBBS looks set to cap a remarkable comeback by returning to Celtic`s first-team before the end of the season.
The 29-year-old former Bolton Wanderers defender has missed the majority of The Bhoys` superb season after being diagnosed with cancer for the second time, but he has been given the all-clear and is looking to return.
Stubbs has been training alone, but Bhoys boss Martin O`Neill is hopeful he can join the rest of the squad.
"Alan`s doing fine," O`Neill declared. "He hopes to play by the end of the season."
