RONALDO SET FOR INTER RETURN
The 24-year-old has been in Brazil the past month doing some light training and rehabilitation as he tries to battle back from the serious knee injury he sustained last year.
Ronaldo suffered torn tendons in his right knee in his comeback game from a previous knee problem for Inter against Lazio last April in the Coppa Italia and has not played since.
The former Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven ace is happy with his recovery so far and he is confident that he will make a return to full fitness in the summer.
Ronaldo wants to get his career back on track and start playing and he admitted it will be very emotional for him once he gets his first game in.
"Now I have to train myself, because I want to come back very soon and when the day arrives when I step back out in the San Siro stadium in front of my Inter fans, I'll feel an emotion just like my first day in Serie A," said Ronaldo.
"Football is my life. I want to come back the player I was before."
