ELLIOTT RUBBISHES CELTIC RUMOURS
Some tabloid reports had hinted that the Scottish international wanted a move away from Filbert Street with Parkhead the most likely destination, to be reunited with his former Leicester boss Martin O'Neill, but Elliott insists that the reports are wide of the mark.
It was suggested that the 32-year-old was looking for a move away from the Midlands club as he was upset at their poor recent form which has seen them slip out of contention for a place in Europe next season.
The Foxes have failed to win since their shock FA Cup defeat at the hands of Wycombe Wanderers at the start of March but Elliott has pledged that the side will battle through their recent slump.
"Some of the lads told me that a report in one of the Sunday papers said I could go to Celtic because I was disillusioned with Leicester," said Elliott.
"I haven't got a clue where that came from. Nothing is further from the truth and I went to see the manager to make sure he knew that.
"Of course everyone is low but we are all in it together and I believe we can all come through it together," added Elliott.
