ANDREW STIRS UP CAMPBELL RUMOURS

SOL CAMPBELL'S agent has once more confirmed that his player has no shortage of suitors, and stated that major London clubs were asking to be kept informed.

Although the change of management at Tottenham Hotspur means that Campbell will be holding talks with former England boss Glenn Hoddle over a White Hart Lane stay - agent Sky Andrew stated that there were other options.

"Sol is honour bound to talk with Tottenham first, especially now that Mr Hoddle has taken over as the new manager, but of course it is not every day that a player of Sol's ability becomes available, so it attracts massive interest.

"What makes any deal with Sol also very attractive is that he is on a free transfer, so many clubs from England and Europe have made it know that they are monitoring the situation.

"It would not be fair to name clubs, but Sol has often said that he would prefer to stay in London, so it wouldn't be too difficult to work out which big London clubs have asked me to keep them up to date with the way matters with Tottenham are progressing."

Campbell has been linked with a plethora of clubs after stating that he would not sit down to contract talks until the summer, and Andrew's comments seem carefully chosen to boost the value of the England international's contract.
