NUNEZ TO RETURN TO HONDURAS
SUNDERLAND forward Milton Nunez is set to end his Wearside exile by returning to Honduras in a cut-price deal.
The 28-year-old has undergone a year-long nightmare at Sunderland since joining them from Uruguyan outfit Nacional for an initial fee of £1.6 million.
Having been told by Peter Reid that he has no future in the North East, Nunez now looks set to return to his native land with a move to Olimpia, who have already expressed an interest in taking the pint-sized forward on-loan.
His agent, Pablo Betancourt, revealed that a deal with Nacional is all but sealed, saying: "There should be no problems with the transfer. I expect it to go through by the end of the week."
