KETSBAIA REGRETS MAKING WOLVES MOVE
The Georgian was substituted, in a tactical switch following the dismissal of Keith Andrews, by manager Dave Jones during the 2-0 win at Crystal Palace, prompting the former Newcastle forward to throw his shirt to the floor in anger.
This led to Jones to say: "Ketsbaia has got to understand it was a tactical change.
"When he threw his shirt to the ground it was the only time it got dirty."
After a weekend of reflection, Ketsbaia was unrepentant, saying: "This isn't just about the last two days. It's the last four months.
"I made the worst decision of my life last summer. People here were making dreams with me and I deserve more respect.
"They didn't find me in the street. I had a two-year contract at Newcastle, but I came here to do my best for this club.
"I could stay here and just pick up my wages, but I'm 33, not 25 or 26, and I care for this club and myself. This makes me very unhappy."
Speaking about his shirt-throwing antics, Ketsbaia felt he was justified and is still determined to work hard.
"I don't want to hear any of this symbolic gesture rubbish," Ketsbaia added. "Disrespect is if I didn't do anything, but people can see I've been doing my best and have been one of the best players in the last two games I've played.
"They have been sacrificing me here for four months. We have some very good players and we should be in the top six. Apart from Fulham and Blackburn, we're better than any team.
"I haven't been breaking the manager's door to ask him why I haven't played and I am training today. If I get the chance to play tomorrow, I play."
