DE GOEY SET FOR CHELSEA EXIT

CHELSEA goalkeeper Ed de Goey has said that he will be seriously considering a move away from Stamford Bridge after falling out-of-favour with new boss Claudio Ranieri.

The giant Dutchman has fallen behind Italian Carlo Cudicini in the standings and, with the arrival of Mark Bosnich, sees his future away from the club.

He insists that he has had no offers from another club, but has heard transfer rumours, and needs a serious talk with the management.

"It looks very uncertain as far as my position stands," said de Goey. "I have no plans for the summer, but with one year left on my contract, I really need to speak to the coach and the club about my future.

"I have seen reports of interest from clubs in Europe including Feyenoord, but so far I have not had any talks with another team.

"This season has been a great disappointment, I have not had the opportunity to prove the coaches wrong about dropping me.

"It is something I will have to come to terms with though, I have really enjoyed my time at the club and have always thought I have done a good job."
