OVIEDO PLOT SUMMER RAIDS

REAL OVIEDO are being credited with an interest in trying to sign Bordeaux's Francois Grenet and Besiktas bad-boy Pascal Nouma.

The relegation-threatened Liga outfit are already lining up possible summer recruits even though their top-flight status is far from guaranteed, and there are question marks over Raddy Antic's (pictured) future as coach.

Grenet is captain with Girondins, and his decision to leave the club will spark plenty of attention from elsewhere, with Monaco also believed to be plotting a raid for his services.

It will be a wrench for the 26-year-old to quit Bordeaux, as he began his career with the club back in the 1992/93 season.

As for Nouma, the French forward has been linked with moves to England, but also expressed a desire to go back to Le Championnat.

Besiktas admit that they need to sell the 29-year-old, who can list Lille, Caen, Paris Saint Germain, Strasbourg and Lens on his footballing CV, but they want a sizeable fee for the controversial hit-man.
