FERNANDEZ TARGETING RIISE SWAP DEAL

PARIS SAINT GERMAIN coach Luis Fernandez has reportedly contacted Monaco about a proposed swap deal, that would see Pierre Ducrocq move to Stade Louis II with John Arne Riise travelling in the opposite direction.

Ducrocq, a 24-year-old native Parisien, was linked with Monaco last term, but decided against joining Claude Puel`s side.

However, he could now be persuaded to leave as part of a deal that would bring Norwegian ace Riise to the French capital.

Riise, who has been persistently linked with a transfer to Leeds United, has failed to make the expected impact at the French champions and has slipped further down the pecking order following the emergence of Pontus Farnerud.

With both players finding life difficult at their respective clubs, a change of scenery could see a deal come to fruition.
