HADJI CONFIRMS SKY BLUES EXIT

COVENTRY CITY captain Moustapha Hadji has revealed that he will be definitely leaving the relegated club in the summer.

The 29-year-old Moroccan international stated that Sky Blues supremo Brian Richardson told him that he will be leaving Highfield Road.

"The team was relegated into the First Division, I had talks with the chairman and told him of my desire to stay," revealed Hadji.

"But he told me that 'you are better than the First Division, you should find a team in the top division', therefore, I will certainly be transferred to another club.

"The club made a lot of investments last season, and now they need the money back and I am the only player who can bring in a lot of money.

"When I came from Corogne, I cost 60 million francs (£5.6 million), I believe Coventry will sell me for 40 or 50 million francs (£3.7-£4.7 million).

When asked about his next club he said: "I don`t know anything at present, but I am sure that I won`t remain at Coventry."
