VALE SNAP UP UNITED KID
PORT VALE have snapped up Manchester United youngster Ashley Dodd, following a successful loan spell with the Division Two club.
The midfielder has signed a one-year contract at Vale Park and should be an important member of the first team next season.
"Ashley has come into the first team at the end of the season and has done extremely well," confirmed manager Brian Horton.
"We gave him a chance to prove himself and he has done just that."
Former Bromsgrove Rovers forward Richard Burgess has also agreed a 12-month contract with the Potteries club, after impressing for the reserves.
