MORGAN FOR BRIGHTON?

SIMON MORGAN could be set to re-unite with former Fulham boss Micky Adams, now managing Division Three champions Brighton.

Adams revealed on Monday that he has already held preliminary talks with the defender-cum-midfielder who was recently released by The Cottagers after spending over ten years with the club.

"There is an interest in Simon, although he is just one of the avenues I am going down," he confirmed.

"He has an opportunity to go back to Fulham at any time and get a job there, but he wants to continue his playing career."

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Mark Cartwright - recently released by The Seagulls - looks all set for a move to Gay Meadow after being offered a one-year contract by Shrewsbury Town.
