BETTEGA HITS BACK AT REAL
"If Real want Inzaghi and Zidane then we want Raul, Roberto Carlos, Makelele and Figo," said Bettega.
Real president Florentino Perez quickly responded telling reporters: "A swap involving Figo and Zidane is impossible and we have not even spoken about Inzaghi."
"Then Zidane remains with Juventus for another four years," countered Bettega.
Reports carried in Monday's press claimed Real were ready to discuss a deal with Juve that would see both Zidane and Inzaghi move to Spain but the Italian club seem determined to hold onto both players.
Last summer, Barcelona appeared certain to sign Zidane when reports claimed that the Frenchman's Spanish-born wife was homesick but the forward remained - only for on-field problems to dog the attacking midfielder's relationship with the club.
The 28-year-old was sent off twice during Juve's disastrous Champions League campaign and the suspended Zidane was then spotted by television cameras laughing into his mobile phone whilst his team-mates crashed out of the competition at the hands Panathinaikos.
Things were exacerbated when Zidane was then involved in a skirmish at the airport with Juve fans as the players returned from Greece.
Inzaghi's future at the Turin club is perhaps more clouded. The Italian international was left out for Sunday's 4-1 win at Bologna and his replacement, David Trezeguet, scored two of the goals making it likely that his team-mate will only be on the bench for this Sunday's visit of Perugia to the Stadio Delle Alpi.
A week ago it seemed that Trezeguet was destined for the door with treble cup winners Liverpool leading the chase, but now it is Inzaghi's future that is under the microscope.
The-27-year-old has scored 11 times for Juve this season, one more than Trezeguet, but the Frenchman has barely been given a regular run in the side.
Juve director Luciano Moggi insisted that Inzaghi did not play at Bologna because he did not train until the Saturday, a reasonable motive but one that will lead to one of the Bianconeri's main strikers being left furious on the bench at the weekend.
