LE CHAMPIONNAT DUO TRAIL TRAPASSO

GUEUGNON'S Argentinian ace Marcelo Trapasso is being tracked by Sedan and Sochaux.

The striker arrived at the club in January 2000, leaving All Boys in his homeland, to play for Gueugnon for the past year-and-a-half, after being recommended by Alex Dupont, currently the coach of Sedan.

When Dupont arrived in Sedan, at the beginning of last season, he tried to buy Trapasso but was told the player was not for sale.

Sochaux, in the wake of their promotion to the top flight, are also interested in securing the 25-year-old's signature.

Trapasso does not have the status of a foreign player as he holds an Italian passport and, after a series of investigations into the case of false documents, the French judicial police validated his passport at the beginning of the month.
