GRAYDON STARTS REBUILDING
The Saddlers ensured an immediate return to the First Division with a thrilling 3-2 win over Reading in Cardiff and Graydon is now keen to build on his side to prevent them dropping straight back down next term.
Carl Emberson, Barry Horne and Bryan Small have all been released from the club while midfielder Wrack and defender Roper are have been told that they are not part of the boss' plans.
"It's important to move the team on and I don't think Darren or Ian did themselves justice last season," said Graydon.
"By their own standards they had a disappointing season and I feel this move is the right thing to do for both parties."
Graydon has said that although five players could be leaving the Bescot stadium, he would like to hold on to the rest of his promoted side.
"I would like all the other players who are out of contract to stay," added Graydon.
"We are currently negotiating new deals with them and I am not expecting too many problems.
"I have also spoken to Don Goodman and Fitzroy Simpson and they have indicated they would like to join us."
