LE GUEN LINKED WITH MONACO POST

PAUL LE GUEN is the latest name to be linked with taking over from Claude Puel at Monaco.

Puel's future at the Stade Louis II is very much shrouded in doubt after a disappointing campaign last season which has seen them fail to qualify for Europe.

Bordeaux coach Elie Baup and former Bastia boss Frederic Antonetti have been linked with the job in the past, but the former is unlikely to leave his club and attention has now switched to Le Guen, who has just left Rennes.

Meanwhile, the club are believed to be keen on taking Barcelona's French goalkeeper Richard Dutruel as part of the deal that will see Philippe Christanval move to Camp Nou.

Monaco are keen to strengthen the goalkeeping position next season as Stephane Porato has failed to convince since joining last summer to replace Fabien Barthez, who left to join Manchester United.

They are also understood to be keen on bringing West Ham United defender Rigobert Song back to France.

The former Metz player has failed to establish himself at Upton Par since moving from Liverpool in December and the London outfit maybe prepared to offload him.

Monaco could face competition from Lens, who are also interested in the Cameroon star.
