WALSALL RELEASE THREE AND LIST TWO
RAY GRAYDON has announced that Walsall have released three players and also transfer-listed Darren Wrack and Ian Roper.
Goalkeeper Carl Emberson is joined by defender Bryan Small and veteran midfielder Barry Horne in his departure from the Bescot Stadium after the club were promoted via the play-offs.
The departures of Small and Horne will come as no great surprise, as they only joined the club on short-term deals, although many Saddlers fans will be puzzled by the decision to list Wrack (pictured).
The Cleethorpes-born forward made 28 league appearances for Walsall last season, while 23-year-old Roper was also a prominent figure in the promotion-winning side, making a total of 20 starts.
