HINTON HAS WOLVES AT BAY
KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS chairman Lionel Newton has rubbished reports that Wolves have tabled an offer for star defender Craig Hinton.
Nottingham Forest and Aberdeen are also rumoured to be interested in the 23-year-old, but Newton stressed that he is not about to let one of his major assets fly the nest without justification.
"We have not been contacted either directly or indirectly by Wolves or any other club about Craig's availability. It's just paper talk," he said.
"Craig is obviously ambitious and wants to play at the highest level possible and if the right offer came along we would give it due consideration."
Harriers manager Jan Molby (pictured) returned from his holidays this weekend and will now get straight back to work as he looks to re-negotiate the contracts of a number of players.
