BERKOVIC`S TURKISH MOVE IN THE BALANCE
The talented midfielder is on Gala`s list of potential summer acquisitions, but he recently put the move in jeopardy by claiming that he did not want to mirror his time in Glasgow by moving to the `second biggest` team in Istanbul, behind Fenerbahce.
This claim has angered the Turkish club`s hierarchy, but Berkovic`s representative Pini Zahavi is set for a series of meetings to iron out the problem.
Zahavi said: "It's not important what Eyal has said. We will wait and see if this move is a reality and then we can make a decision. I am coming to Britain next week and I will speak to Celtic then.
"Galatasaray haven't spoken to me but I know they and Besiktas wanted Eyal last season."
Berkovic has had an unhappy time at Parkhead, since his move form West Ham, and was farmed out to Blackburn, but Rovers were not interested in a permanent deal despite the Israeli helping them into The Premiership.
