REAL NEGOTIATING QUIROGA DEAL
Real are rumoured to be interested in acquiring to Argentine stopper, with the possibility that Rodrigo Fabri will remain at Sporting as part of the deal.
Quiroga (pictured) is nearing the end of his year-long loan spell with Napoli but, if negotiations are fruitful, he will not return to Sporting, instead travelling to the Santigao Bernabeu.
Quiroga has impressed Real officials with his efforts in Serie A, despite Napoli struggling for most of the season, and are determined to thrash out a deal.
Fabri, meanwhile, has performed admirably during his loan spell at Sporting from Real, and the Portuguese club are keen to keep the 25-year-old Brazilian at the Jose Alvalade.
Meanwhile, Lazlo Boloni is near to completing the formalities of his deal to coach Sporting for the next two years.
Sporting officials met the Romanian in Paris earlier in the week, before travelling to Madrid, and came away in a positive frame of mind.
Boloni is set to meet with Romanian officials to finalise his release from the national association.
