GRAULUND JOINS BOCHUM

SUPERLIGA top-scorer Peter Graulund has signed for a four-year contract with German Second Division side VfL Bochum.

Graulund bagged 21 goals for Brondby this season and joined the club for a fee believed to be in the region of DM 2.5 million.

"It's with mixed feelings that I leave Brondby," he admitted.

"But the offer from Bochum suits me fine. I come to an offensive side who will dominate the second Bundesliga.

"Brondby is still my club and I will certainly return when I am finished in Germany," he pledged.

Club director Per Bjerregard commented: "We have got a good transfer deal with Bochum. In the coming few days I will discuss with Age Hareide whether or not a forward should be brought in to replace Peter."
