GALATASARY FINALISE GOKTAN DEAL

The Turkish Under-21 international has signed a three-year-contract with the Istanbul club worth a reported £500,000 per annum.

Goktan, who was born in Munich, revealed his delight at joining Galatasary, enthusing: "I always dreamt of playing for Galatasary. Now my dreams have come true.

"I can't wait to pull on the Galatasary jersey. I am so happy I could fly."

The 21-year-old striker had to watch from the stands as Bayern lifted Europe's ultimate club prize and is thirsty for success with the Turkish outfit.

"I want to win the Turkish championship with Galatasary. We will have a good attempt at the Champions League and the Turkish cup," stated Goktan.

The Telsim league victors welcomed the arrival of Goktan with club spokesman Ali Durust declaring: "Berkant has now returned to his homeland."
