WILSON GETS CHELSEA CHANCE
AUSTRALIAN teenager Fred Wilson is hoping to secure a dream move to Chelsea when he embarks on a summer trial at Stamford Bridge.
Claudio Ranieri may be breaking the bank to sign established stars such as William Gallas and Frank Lampard, but the Italian coach's youth operation is also casting its net far and wide.
Wilson spent eight weeks in West London, earlier this year, and sources Down Under claim that captain Dennis Wise (pictured) took the youngster under his wing.
"I was told if I did well, they would invite me back," said Wilson. "Which is what has happened."
The Sorrento starlet had a trial with Leeds United as a raw 13-year-old but he caught the eye again last season when playing for the Under-15s, and is confident of extending his stay in the English capital this time around.
