UDINESE SIGN SPANISH TRIO

The three players involved in the deal include goalkeeper Toni Bernal,  defender Esteban and striker Isaac.

In a strange twist, the president of Murcia, Quique Pina, is also the agent of the three players and he managed to secure four-year deals for each of his charges.

The Italian side are believed to want to loan out their players to Serie B sides next season to give them some experience.

Meanwhile, Udine are reported to be interested in Fiorentina's midfielder Fabio Rossito, who is available at around £2 million.

The moves will see some of Udinese's players leave with 31-year-old Luigi Turci linked with Atalanta whilst Stefano Fiore and Giuliano Giannichedda could be set for Lazio.

The race to be the Udinese coach appears to be a straight fight between Luciano Spalletti and Reggina's coach Franco Colomba, who may leave the Reggio Calabria after the relegation play-off against Verona.

Spalletti replaced Gigi De Canio on Udinese's bench last spring and he avoided relegation, but the Udinese faithful are believed to be unhappy with his brand of football.
