DHORASOO SET FOR INTER

INTERNAZIONALE have pounced to steal Lyon star Vikash Dhorasoo from neighbours Milan - according to reports in France.

Milan had thought they were on the verge of signing the 28-year-old Lyon star, but it appears that Inter moved swiftly to snatch the midfielder for around £6.5 million.

Dhorasoo had been targeted by Milan for several months, and will be bitterly disappointed should the midfielder choose the blue half of the city.

One player who looks increasingly likely to remain at Lyon, despite interest from Fulham and now Sunderland, is French young-gun Steed Malbranque - who will be a key player for the French side should Dhorasoo leave for Italy.

Malbranque had become a target of Fulham boss Jean Tigana, and reports from France have suggested that Peter Reid was ready to swoop for the £4 million rated youngster.

Malbranque, should he choose to stay, will continue to play alongside Brazilian Sonny Anderson - top scorer in the past two Championnat seasons - after he agreed an improved and extended deal with his French side.
