JONES STEAMS INTO KIDDY

KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS have signed released Swansea City defender Steve Jones.

The 31-year-old will reunite with former Swans boss Jan Molby at Aggborough after agreeing to a two-year deal with the club.

"Steve is a whole hearted player and a very committed character. His style of play is well suited to the way we play," Molby told the club's official website.

"We conceded far too many goals from set pieces last season and I'm hopeful Steve will improve us in that area.

"He is very good in the air but is also very good with his feet₻the fans loved him at Swansea and I'm sure he will go on to become a fans favourite here."

The former Liverpool midfield general is also keen on signing released Hartlepool star Sam Shilton, and added: "I am hopeful he'll join us. He has a few other options and he is keeping his cards close to his chest at the moment, as you would expect."
