KELLY SAYS YES TO MOTHERWELL SWITCH

MOTHERWELL have completed the signing of Sheffield United striker David Kelly on a free transfer.

The 35-year-old frontrunner was offered a coaching role to stay at Bramall Lane, but turned it down in favour of a move North of the border.

Kelly becomes Billy Davies' third summer signing after the earlier arrivals of former Rangers keeper Mark Brown and Andy Dow, formerly of Chelsea.

The former Republic of Ireland striker favoured a move to Motherwell to continue his playing career and his arrival will bring some valuable experience to Well's youthful squad.
