ELBER: "I WANT TO PLAY IN COPA AMERICA"

Bayern want Peruvian star Claudio Pizarro and Elber to withdraw from the South American tournament amid security fears, but the latter still maintains that he wants to play in the Colombia showpiece.

"I spoke with the club vice-president and told him that I would like to play in the Copa America.

"Bayern want me to fly back to Germany on Saturday," declared the target-man, who is curently sojourning in his homeland.
