DONI AGREES ATALANTA STAY
ATALANTA star Cristiano Doni has agreed a three year extension to his deal with the club, despite interest from some of Europe's top clubs throughout the season.
The 28-year-old midfielder was linked with Manchester United and Liverpool earlier in a season that saw Atalanta defy their critics and produce some major upsets.
28 league appearances brought seven goals in the last campaign, although several of the side have now departed for pastures new.
Doni is one of the most respected players at Atalanta, and it will come as a major boost to the Nerazzuri fans that the attack minded star has committed until 2004.
