STOKE SWOOP FOR HOEKSTRA
STOKE CITY have completed the signing of Ajax winger Peter Hoekstra for an undisclosed fee.
The former Dutch international has signed a three-year contract at the Britannia Stadium.
Hoekstra spent most of last season on loan at FC Groningen, after Ajax coach Co Adriaanse told him that his services were no longer required at the Amsterdam ArenA.
Stoke will be delighted to have secured the signing of such a high-profile figure, who at Division Two level will surely be one of the star turns in the Potteries next season.
