VAN DER SAR SET FOR AJAX MOVE
EDWIN VAN DER SAR is closing in on a move to Ajax, after it emerged that he has been training with the Dutch club.
Ajax have offered the Turin club a fee of around £3 million for the goalkeeper, although it is believed that the Bianconeri are holding out for a figure in the region of £4.5 million.
Meanwhile, the Juventus Primavera - the club's youth team - will be forced to begin their campaign without the services of Gaetan Guzman.
The 19-year-old has suffered a knee injury and is currently facing six months on the sidelines.
"We have bought some important boys, which shows that the club want to invest money in the youth team, now I am sure we will get some important results," said Primavera manager, Pietro Leonardi.
