ASPER TO STAY
REAL SOCIEDAD keeper Mattias Asper has revealed he will stay with the Spanish side.
The Swedish shot-stopper had been tipped to make move during the close season, but he is now willing to battle for his place.
"I have decided to give it another chance," he declared.
"I can fight on equal rights now that I know the language.
"I fully focus on getting a regular place with my club side. I need to do this in order to be in contention for the national team.
"I will give this a chance until the winter."
Asper is behind Coventry's unsettled Magnus Hedman in the pecking order for Sweden.
