ZENDEN SEALS CHELSEA SWITCH
CHELSEA have completed the £7.5 million signing of Barcelona`s Dutch international Boudewijn Zenden.
The 24-year-old has penned a four-year deal at Stamford Bridge, after passing a medical in West London on Thursday morning.
Zenden is Chelsea`s fourth signing of the summer and takes their spending through the £30 million mark.
"It seems like a long track to have got him, but we're delighted he is here," beamed Chelsea`s managing director Colin Hutchinson.
Zenden becomes the fifth Dutch player in Claudio Ranieri`s squad, joining fellow countrymen Winston Bogarde, Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink, Ed de Goey and Mario Melchiot.
