BOBAN AGREES TO CELTA LOAN DEAL
Boban turned down a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray to join the Galician club, a move that surprised many observers.
The 33-year-old had lost his place in the Milan side, mainly down to new faces such as Rui Costa and his age counting against him, although he remains one of the more skilful players in world football.
The Croatian international has won four league titles and one European Cup in nine seasons at the Giuseppe Meazza, although the new coach of Milan, Fatih Terim had made it clear that Boban was not part of his plans.
Boban is due to travel to Celta to finalise the specific details of the transfer, with the two clubs having already reached an agreement.
Celta will probably pay Milan two-thirds of Boban's salary, although the Italian side will not lose any rights to the player.
